SearchPDFs is for searching all the PDFs in a folder (and optionally its sub-folders, and their sub-folders, and so on), for literal text, or for a regular expression.

Try (no time limit; max. 25 PDFs searched) or Buy ($30 USD)

You can try SearchPDFs for free with no time limit and with no obligation (we don't even ask for your email address). This is the full version, except that once 25 PDFs have been searched the search will stop even if there are more PDFs to search. To try SearchPDFs, you just need to download the software, install it, and run it:

  1. On the computer you want to use, download the SearchPDFs installer (it works on all modern Windows machines, XP, Vista, 7, 8, and 10, 32-bit or 64-bit): SearchPDFs-1.0.2-win32.msi (17 MB; MD5 060b5777b5b2e1e8d4b57a5a4122da1d)
  2. (You may get an invalid warning about the .msi file in some browsers. Also, some virus checkers may give a false positive.)
  3. Double-click the installer and follow the on-screen instructions to install SearchPDFs.
  4. Run SearchPDFs (e.g., click the Start menu, then click SearchPDFs). By default SearchPDFs operates in Free Trial Mode: click the Register button to buy it, so that you can use it without restriction.

If you decide to purchase a SearchPDFs license, you can obtain a key by clicking the Register button, then the Register Window's Buy Now button, or directly from the MyCommerce/SearchPDFs web page. Once you have the key copy it from the web page and paste it into the Register Window's Key line editor, then check the check box and click OK.
